Hi, I’m David Russo. Army veteran, non-directional scroller, lover of pop culture, pizza, and (controversially) the real New York football team—the Buffalo Bills.
I'm a Senior Staff Product Designer with 10+ years spanning advertising, web, and UX/UI. Since 2019 at ServiceNow, I've designed AI-driven experiences, built scalable design systems, and partnered across product, engineering, and leadership to shape how complex ideas get translated into intuitive interfaces.
My work centers on three things: clarity under complexity, systems that scale, and design that earns trust. I've led design for flagship demos and customer experiences, built Figma systems used across 50+ teams, and helped establish standards that let distributed teams ship faster and more consistently.
Beyond product, I'm obsessed with scaling craft—whether through design systems, prototyping workflows, or helping teams work smarter.
Outside of design, I’m usually tinkering with something mechanical, working on my golf swing, reading comics, or rewatching The Simpsons for the hundredth time. These days, I’m mostly hanging out with my wife and our son, Luca—making the most of San Diego and figuring out what “free time” means now.
