Hi, I’m David Russo. Army veteran, non-directional scroller, lover of pop culture, pizza, and (controversially) the real New York football team—the Buffalo Bills.
I’m a Senior Product Designer with over a decade of experience spanning print, advertising, web, and UX/UI design. Since joining ServiceNow in 2019, I’ve partnered with cross-functional teams to craft forward-thinking concepts, prototypes, and AI-driven experiences used across hundreds of product initiatives, executive reviews, and customer engagements.
My work blends design, storytelling, and systems thinking—helping transform complex ideas into intuitive, engaging user experiences that scale.
Along the way, I’ve helped:
Deliver high-fidelity prototypes and demos viewed by exec leadership/thousands of users and stakeholders
Contribute to experience narratives that influence product direction and roadmap decisions
Improve team velocity by building and evolving Figma-based design systems and reusable libraries used across 50-plus teams in the ServiceNow design org
Reduce design and prototyping time through reusable components, patterns, and workflows
Beyond product work, I’m passionate about scaling craft—whether that’s through design systems, prototyping standards, or helping teams work smarter through better tooling and processes.
Outside of design, I’m usually tinkering with something mechanical, reading comics, or rewatching The Simpsons for the hundredth time. These days, I’m mostly hanging out with my wife and our son, Luca—making the most of San Diego and figuring out what “free time” means now.
